VeinViewer Flex Technology
The VeinViewer Flex is an innovative medical device designed to assist healthcare professionals in visualizing veins for procedures like venipuncture. It utilizes safe near-infrared (NIR) light, which is projected onto the patient’s skin. Hemoglobin in the blood absorbs this light, while the surrounding tissues reflect it. The device captures this reflected light, processes the information, and projects a real-time image of the veins directly onto the skin’s surface. This non-invasive and painless technology enhances accuracy and efficiency during vein access procedures.
